Builds on prior knowledge of 3D elements and principles of design as it relates to narrative
concepts. Continued development of understanding form and mass, scale, gravity and
equilibrium, surface texture, and color theory through working on character design, a narrative
storyline, and invented dimensional environments. Emphasis is placed on research, drawing,
advanced sculpting techniques, material experimentation, mold making and casting, articulation,
and retail package design and creation, with insistence on the quality of craftsmanship and
construction, detail, and believability.
