Branded Entertainment Certificate

The Branded Entertainment Certificate at Ringling College of Art and Design prepares students for careers at the intersection of storytelling, brand strategy, and content creation. Through three sequential courses — BOAD 230 Brand Strategy, FILM 363 Brand Storytelling, and FILM 465 Business of Branded Entertainment — students gain the strategic, creative, and business skills required for the branded entertainment industry. The certificate is open to degree-seeking students across all majors.

Upon completion of the Branded Entertainment Certificate, students will be able to:

  1. Brand Strategy: Develop an understanding of brand strategy, market research, and consumer insight to inform the creation of branded content.
  2. Brand Storytelling: Apply storytelling principles and scriptwriting techniques to create original branded content for screen media.
  3. Business of Branded Entertainment: Demonstrate entrepreneurial and business skills by building a comprehensive brand business plan.
