Cinemas of India, Japan, China (Mainland), Hong Kong (SAR), Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Iran, Australia, New Zealand, and The Pacific Islands are explored. A holistic and critical understanding is developed through the study of film aesthetics and the cultural, historical, and political contexts they reflect.
