Analysis of gender transgression and queer desire in animated media production, approached through interdisciplinary perspectives. Studies foundational concepts in the philosophy of gender and the circulation of information, and applies them to animated visual media. Reviews the conditions of knowledge creation, and develops students’ abilities to create new knowledge.
