The Branded Entertainment Certificate at Ringling College of Art and Design prepares students for careers at the intersection of storytelling, brand strategy, and content creation. Through three sequential courses — BOAD 230 Brand Strategy, FILM 363 Brand Storytelling, and FILM 465 Business of Branded Entertainment — students gain the strategic, creative, and business skills required for the branded entertainment industry. The certificate is open to degree-seeking students across all majors.
Upon completion of the Branded Entertainment Certificate, students will be able to:
- Brand Strategy: Develop an understanding of brand strategy, market research, and consumer insight to inform the creation of branded content.
- Brand Storytelling: Apply storytelling principles and scriptwriting techniques to create original branded content for screen media.
- Business of Branded Entertainment: Demonstrate entrepreneurial and business skills by building a comprehensive brand business plan.
